Postgraduate students who have come to the UK from outside of the European Union report higher levels of satisfaction with their experience than those who are from the country, according to a new study. Among 84,000 respondents to the Advance HE Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey, 83 per cent said they were satisfied with the quality of their course, but differences are revealed when this is broken down. Across five categories including resources, teaching and organization, satisfaction rates for non-EU students were always at least five per cent higher than for UK students. In a report accompanying the study, it is also noted that satisfaction among students from India and Pakistan has risen considerably since 2019, something it describes as "striking".
